I have had a lot of tutu makers and boutiques on Etsy, myspace, facebook, and the web who have been stealing and copying my designs. Us as designers try to make things that are original and unique to get noticed by buyers and followers.  I have tried hard to make my mark in the tutu world which is an evergrowing market for children's clothes and I am very aware that tutus are very fun and easy to make, just google the many ways to make a tutu. This is why I try hard to make tutus that are original and new. It is so easy for all these other tutu boutiques to just see my work and take it for themselves. I have tried to confront these so called boutiques about why they are stealing from me and many of them lash out and say I am just some stupid WAHM but the irony is they are the ones stealing from this stupid WAHM and cant come up with new original works of thier own.

There are so many talented stay at home moms who are very blessed to have a career, be in complete control with no boss and stay in the comfort of their own home.  I have been very blessed to be able to take what I love to do and make a good living for my family. My family needs me and yet I have this desire to have something of my very own. So I started my own online tutu boutique to release all my pinned up creativity.
Having a full time job at minimum wage was just not an option for me. I just couldnt see my two children being raised by a daycare of complete strangers while I made ends meat just to afford that daycare to raise my kiddos. I have a son who lives with asthma and being able to stay home gives me the opportunity to be there whenever he needs me and not have to worry about being fired because I leave work too much.

All about the "Dont Copy,Be Original" campaign is to stop the online stealing of designers work. Right click and copy the logo and place it on your site for all visitors to see. Stand up for all the talented designers and work at home moms and dads, who are original and innovative and are trying to make a difference in thier lives and in their family's lives.

Stealing is stealing. You wouldnt go to the store or mall and steal items. Taking ideas or designs from a designer and making and selling it for yourself is stealing just like in the mall. Try to be original in your work, you just might suprise yourself and come up with something great. It feels awesome to have something you can actually call your own.
